Guilin to Nanning Bus

Nanning is the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, while Guilin is the most famous tourist city in the region. Distance between these two cities is approx. 380km but well connected with train and public bus. Many locals work in Nanning and have a weekend back to Guilin, or just the opposite way. Train ride takes around 2.5 hours. However, bus journey (approx. 5 hours) is also very popular for the short distance travel.

There are frequent buses running between Guilin and Nanning. But during pandemic, train transport has enough capacity for the travelers between the cities. Now there is only one bus departing from Guilin South Bus Station to Nanning Langdong Bus Station at 10:30 per day. We assume that it will be back to normal soon as the vaccine plan is taking through smoothly.
