The Sea World Culture and Arts Center covers 26,000 square meters with a total building area of 71,000 square meters. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki, it is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Situated in a prime location near Shekou Bay, the center offers stunning views of Hong Kong’s mountains, seamlessly blending the beauty of mountains, sea, and city.


The building includes exhibition halls, a theater, a seaside multifunctional event space, indoor and outdoor public areas, dining and retail spaces, as well as landscaped grounds and a rooftop garden terrace. The rooftop garden is an exceptional spot for photography, offering breathtaking views that will leave you enchanted.


The center hosts a variety of dynamic events, with exhibitions that change regularly. Some are free, while others require tickets.


Recognized by the renowned travel guide Lonely Planet, the Sea World Culture and Arts Center has been honored as Shenzhen's "Top Cultural Destination."

The ideal time for photography is between 4:00-5:00 PM, when the lighting is perfect. On sunny days, you can also capture the stunning pink hues of the sunset. Both the seaside plaza and the interior of the building are fantastic spots for taking photos.
