Fenghuang to Guilin Private Car Service

You may have already seen our guide on transportation from Fenghuang Ancient Town to Guilin. The distance between these two locations is about 400 kilometers. The train route follows a circular path: Guilin - Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie - Guilin. Additionally, there is no public bus service between these two places. If you're traveling from Fenghuang to Guilin with a lot of luggage, prefer not to transfer by train, or are in a larger group (as securing train tickets can be challenging, especially during peak season), renting a car is an excellent option. You can either travel directly from Fenghuang to Guilin or stop at Longji for a visit before continuing to Guilin. If you have enough time, consider staying overnight in Longji.

Option 1: One-way transfer from Fenghuang Ancient Town to Guilin

The entire journey is 392 kilometers via highway, taking approximately 6.5 hours.

Option 2: One-day car rental from Fenghuang to Guilin visit a visit of Longji area enroute

Longji is 90 kilometers from Guilin and is on the route from Fenghuang to Guilin. The visit typically takes about 3-4 hours. If your group is large and requires a vehicle with more than 9 seats, you'll need to take the park's shuttle bus to reach the viewing points, which will extend your visit time. In this case, we recommend staying overnight in Longji and choosing Option 3 for your vehicle rental. Transportation to Guilin the next day can then be coordinated with your other planned activities in Guilin.

Option 3: One-way transfer from Fenghuang Ancient Town to Longji Scenic Area

If you have ample time or are traveling with a large group, and your visit to Longji is expected to be lengthy, we recommend staying overnight in Longji.
