The Beishan cliff carvings, a part of the Dazu Rock Carvings, were created from the late Tang Dynasty to the Southern Song Dynasty. Situated on Beishan, 2 kilometers north of Dazu District, these carvings span over 500 meters and showcase detailed sculptures reaching a height of around 7 meters. With more than 5,000 statues, they display exceptional craftsmanship. Although certain areas have experienced damage, the majority of the carvings remain in excellent condition.
Changzhou Ancient Town in Chongqing's Dazu District is known as the "Fragrant Land of Crabapple Blossoms." Though mostly built later, it recreates the prosperous Northern Song Dynasty era.
