This is a day tour from Kunming to Chengzi Village and Alu Ancient Cave. Guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby early in the morning and drive for 2.5 hours also to Chengzi old village. Explore the old village and have lunch nearby. Continue visit to Alu Cave in the afternoon.
Chengzi is a beautiful Yi village in Luxi County, 200km from Kunming city and 80 km away from Stone Forest. The mysterious village has a history over 300 years featuring unique Yi ethnic group traditional style dwellings. The buildings stacked layer upon layer against the mountain making the largest of its kind in the southwest. All the houses are connected with one’s roof is another’s courtyard. Many visitors are draw to here by its characteristic structures and history.
Alu Ancient Cave is a formation of karsts caverns with an area of 1.6 square kilometers full of true to life stone formations. Located just two km from Luxi Town, the cave had been discovered in ancient times. Now a three-kilometer tour route has well equipped and opened to public, including Luyuan cave, Jade Pillar Cave and an underground 800-meter-long River.
Drive back to your hotel in Kunming around 6pm in the evening.
