Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong (transport at your own expense)

Transportation: Car

Meals: Not included
Itinerary: Our guide will meet you at Hong Kong Airport (or the train station) holding a sign with your name and take you directly to the hotel or sightseeing spots in an air-conditioned vehicle.

 

Day 2: Hong Kong - Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Harbor, Repulse Bay

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: After breakfast, begin a half-day tour of Hong Kong. The tour usually lasts around 5 hours and aims to capture the essence of the city.

Victoria Peak, the highest point in Hong Kong, offers a panoramic view of the city from its summit.

The second stop is Aberdeen Harbor, where many local fishermen still live. This gives a glimpse into the authentic fishing community life. There are also seafood restaurants in the area. If you want to experience life at Aberdeen Harbor more closely, you can enjoy a sampan boat tour (additional cost).

Repulse Bay, located south of Victoria Peak, is the most beautiful bay in Hong Kong, known for its exclusive residences.

Note: Sampan boat ride is an optional extra.

In the afternoon, you have time for shopping in Hong Kong, a shopping paradise. Mong Kok, Tung Lo Wan, and Tsim Sha Tsui are the best areas for shopping.

 

Day 3: Hong Kong to Guilin by High-Speed Train

Transportation: Train + Car

Meals: Breakfast

Itinerary: Before heading to the station, you can explore Hong Kong on your own, then travel to Guilin by high-speed train. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and rest.

 

Day 4: Guilin to Longji and back - Longji Rice Terraces, Hike from Zhuang Village to Ping'an Village

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: A full day dedicated to the Longji Rice Terraces. After breakfast, depart for Longji by car (approximately 2 hours). The Longji terraces are considered some of the most beautiful in China, with wooden villages of the Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities. In each season, the terraces showcase different beauties. In spring, you see rapeseed flowers; in summer, lush green fields; in autumn, golden crops; and in winter, water-filled terraces with beautiful reflections.

You will also enjoy a hike from the ancient Zhuang village to Ping'an village or vice versa. The walk offers stunning views and an immersive experience.

After the visit, return to Guilin.

 

Day 5: Guilin to Yangshuo - Li River Cruise (Lunch on board), Cycling in Yangshuo Countryside

Transportation: Car + Boat

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: In the morning, take a 4-hour Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery along the Li River is famous for its limestone karst peaks, picturesque waters, and tranquil buffaloes drinking at the river’s edge.

In the afternoon, cycle through Yangshuo’s countryside, where you’ll pass by beautiful rivers, fruit orchards, traditional homes, and sometimes water buffaloes in rice fields, offering a glimpse into authentic rural life.

 

Day 6: Yangshuo to Guilin, then to Xiamen - Xianggong Hill

Transportation: Car + Flight

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast, visit Xianggong Hill, a peak beside the Li River offering one of the best panoramic views of the river and karst landscape. It takes about 10 minutes to climb the stairs to the top.

After the visit, transfer to the airport for a flight to Xiamen. Spend the evening in Xiamen.

 

Day 7: Xiamen - Bike ride along Huandao Avenue, Putuo Temple, Gulangyu Island

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: A day to explore the essence of Xiamen. Gulangyu Island, famous for its colonial-era architecture, offers many buildings in various styles. You can stroll through the narrow streets to discover the charm of this island, often referred to as "The Island of Music," and visit the only piano museum in China.

The Nanputuo Temple, located at the foot of Wulaofeng Mountain, is the most famous temple in Xiamen. It covers 30,000 square meters and houses Buddhist statues from Myanmar and ivory carvings.

Huandao Avenue is a scenic coastal road where you can see statues, fine sandy beaches, and beautiful sea views.

 

Day 8: Xiamen to Nanjing by car - Yunshuiyao Village, Tianluokeng Hakka Tulou

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Today, discover the Hakka Tulou. Travel from Xiamen to Nanjing by car.

Yunshuiyao, also called Changjiao, is known for its magnificent Hakka Tulou in various shapes, ancient banyan trees, and a 10 km stone-paved street. The most famous tulou include the Huaiyuan and Hegui tulous.

Tianluokeng Hakka Tulou, located at 787 meters above sea level, is a group of three circular tulous, one square tulou, and one oval tulou, offering a panoramic view of the Tulou.

After the visit, head to Taxiacun Village for a night in a Tulou guesthouse.

 

Day 9: Nanjing to Yongding to Huangshan - Chuxi Hakka Tulou, Chengqi Tulou

Transportation: Car + High-Speed Train

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Continue discovering Hakka Tulou in Nanjing and Yongding.

The Chuxi Hakka Tulou, located in Yongding, includes five circular and ten square tulous. The most characteristic tulous are Jishan Tulou and Shangqing Tulou, which is over 110 years old.

The Chengqi Tulou, built during the Ming Dynasty, is considered the king of Hakka Tulou. With four layers and four floors, it houses about 400 rooms.

After the visit, travel to Huangshan by high-speed train and spend the night in Huangshan city.

 

Day 10: Huangshan - Visit Shixin Peak, Lion Peak, Yellow Mountain (Yungu Cable Car)

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast, head by car to the Yellow Mountain, one of China’s most famous and beautiful mountains. Take the Yungu cable car up to the mountain, where you can admire uniquely shaped rocks, pine trees, and a sea of clouds (weather permitting).

This day is dedicated to visiting Shixin Peak, Lion Peak, the Xihai Grand Canyon, and the famous Black Tiger Pine, some of the most well-known sites on Yellow Mountain.

If the weather allows, you may see the sunset in the evening. Overnight at a hotel on Yellow Mountain.

 

Day 11: Huangshan to Yixian - Hongcun Village, Yellow Mountain

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: In the morning, you can visit Shixin Peak or Danxia Peak to see the sunrise (weather permitting). After breakfast, continue exploring Yellow Mountain’s beautiful landscapes, then take the Yungu cable car down and head to Hongcun Village.

Hongcun Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built during the Song Dynasty and has more than 960 years of history. It’s famous for its beautiful ponds, well-preserved ancient residences, and narrow alleys, making it one of Anhui’s most charming villages.

In the evening, stay in Hongcun or Bishan village.

 

Day 12: Huangshan to Beijing - Nanping Village, Experience Local Life

Transportation: Car + High-Speed Train

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Continue exploring typical villages in the Yixian District of Huangshan.

Visit Nanping Village, a thousand-year-old village with 72 alleys, 36 wells, and more than 300 ancient residences. It’s a beautiful village to visit. In Nanping Village, you will experience local life like the villagers. You will visit a vegetable farm to learn about and pick vegetables, then cook a local Chinese meal at a villager's house.

After lunch, take the high-speed train to Beijing. Overnight in Beijing.

 

Day 13: Beijing - Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world, covering almost 40 hectares. Then, explore the Forbidden City, the magnificent imperial palace from the Ming and Qing dynasties, a UNESCO World Heritage site. To get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City, hike up Coal Hill, the best viewpoint for photos.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant where you can enjoy Peking Duck, a famous Beijing dish.

In the afternoon, walk through the Hutongs, narrow alleys that have been around for over 700 years. These offer a glimpse into the authentic life of old Beijing.

End the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. Known for its beautiful blue color, it is one of Beijing’s must-see sites.

 

Day 14: Beijing - Summer Palace, Qianmen Street, Mutianyu Great Wall

Transportation: Car

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Today, visit the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, built during the Ming Dynasty. It is one of China’s most famous landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can take a cable car up and either ride the cable car or toboggan down, offering a beautiful view of the surroundings.

Explore the Summer Palace, an imperial garden and UNESCO site famous for its lake, palaces, and bridges.
Spend the afternoon shopping on Qianmen Street, a commercial hub in Beijing.

 

Day 15: Beijing / Departure (Flights or Train at your expense)

Itinerary: Free time until your departure for the airport or train station in Beijing.

  2. 7 to 14 days before commencement of services: charge 10% of the tour price.

  3. 2 to 6 days before commencement of services: charge 50% of the tour price.

  4. Within 2 days of commencement of services or no-show travelers: charge 100% of the tour price.

  5. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
