Arrive in Xingping, a well-known ancient town with the most beautiful scenery along the Li River. Here we board a bamboo raft upstream the Li River and descend at Nine Horse Hill Dock. Then we make our way back to Xingping via the riverside hiking path. This 5km, rather easy route, can be completed about 1-1.5 with many Iconic spots including the Nine Horse Hill, Yellow Cloth Reflection and 20 RMB view. Besides, there are some barely visited villages nestling along the river valley. And you will find out finally why this is the most photographed region all over China. We will also spend some time at the Ancient town and enjoy a cormorant fishing show in the evening if available.
Wake in the morning to the sound of birdsong and have a pleasant breakfast. Then we drive 40 minutes to Yangshuo town to continue our connection with nature and people. Yangshuo has some of the best hiking and biking paths through the paddy fields along the flat valley of Yulong River. We will follow the route from hotel to the ten-mile gallery and onto Yulong River (battery car is available if not get used to the bike). A bamboo raft ride is included to give a rest and enjoy the stunning views on both sides.
We back to the town center before the crowds arriving by cruise each day. Cooking experience is a fun activity in Yangshuo. The chef will show us around the market, purchase ingredients and teach us cooking step by step. A “wow” moment comes when dish you make is on the table. Take the recipe home.
This evening is full filled with an outdoor performance – Impression Liusanjie.
After breakfast, we are off to the airport and visit Xianggong Mountain on the way to Guilin. Xiangong Mountain has been a photographer base. Many visitors come for a bird view of the U-shape Li River winding through the soaring peaks. There are hundreds of stone steps leading to the viewpoints but doable for all unless those having knees problem.

a) Bamboo ride on Li River is subject to change or cancel due to high water level or government control. Senior people aged 70+, children under 1.2 meters, pregnant women are not on the permit list for the bamboo ride. Follow the safety instructions when take the bamboo ride including wear life jet, take care of your belongings.
b) For the biking tour into the countryside, if you are not interested in or weather does not permit, we will arrange batter car or vehicle instead to fulfill the tour.
