5 Days Luxury Beijing Tour

English-speaking guide will greet you at the flight arrival holding a sign of your name and a flag with ETripChina Logo. Then guide and driver will help you load luggage and head directly to hotel at the Commune at the Great Wall that is very near to the Badaling section. Hotel is proud of a collection of contemporary architectures designed by 12 Asian architects. It enjoys a great convenience to the Badaling Great Wall and the hotel has a private access to a wild section of the Wall. If arrive before 5:00pm, guide will take you to enjoy a sunset with the wall as backdrop.

Hotel will arrange a morning call at 6:30am (or your preferred time) to remind you an early visit of the Great Wall. After breakfast, drive a few minutes to the Great Wall Badaling section which is the first part of the Great Wall opened to public. It has been extensively restored and most complete section among the various sections. Hike and photograph on a very quiet wall before the crowds coming around 10:00am.

Around 11:00am, make way back to the Commune at the Great Wall and have a western style lunch in the Terrace Lounge. Stay back and enjoy a great view of Shuiguan Mountains from the picture window.

After lunch hours, drive towards the city and pay a visit en route to 798 Art District. This Art District has boasted to be the nation's largest and most influential international arts in recent years.

Around 4:30, arrive your hotel. Check in and refresh yourself. Later head out and have a special Beijing Roasted Duck Dinner at Qianmen Restaurant.

After breakfast, guide will meet you at the lobby and drive shortly to Tiananmen Square to start today’s highlights tour. Tiananmen Square is the largest public city square in the world with a total area of 440,000 square meters. Standing on its four sides are all important political and cultural sites including the Forbidden City, Great Hall of the People, National Museum Etc.

Spend 30 minutes also taking photos at Tiananmen Square, then enter the Forbidden City from there and spend the rest of the time in the palace until lunch hours; The complex in Forbidden City is well preserved with 980 buildings over 720,000 m2 exhibiting extensive collections of artifacts and artwork.

When complete the tour and exit from the north gate, continue a short visit to the Jinshan Park to get a panoramic view of the Forbidden city.

Then enjoy lunch at imperial restaurant - Beihai Fangshan (average CNY 350 per person without drinks) and take a leisure walk in the park.

In the afternoon, take a leisure rickshaw tour to Hutong area and step into the local courtyards, local markets and relics including Bell tower and Drum Tower.

Morning visit can start from 8:00am in summer and late than 9:00am in winter on your preference. For the hot summer days, guide will pick you up at lobby and begin the tour from Temple of Heaven which is a complex of religious building built in 1420 for the emperors to make sacrificial ceremonies and praying for harvests. Outside of the main buildings, local people enjoy their morning hours practicing Taichi, dancing and all activities that you can think of.

Around 11:00am, move to Anman Yihe Hotel to enjoy a quiet lunch hour and nice meal (CNY 400 per person without drinks). The restaurant and hotel of Anman Yihe locate in the back of the Summer Palaces and parts of its buildings are relics with history over 1000 years.

In the afternoon, you will take short walks along the Lounge in the Summer Palace, appreciate the century-old architectures, boat on the cruise or hike up to the mountains.

To fulfill your evening hours, we arrange a Peking opera show which is regarded as one of the cultural treasures of China. It combines fascinating and artistic music, vocal performance, mime, dance, and acrobatics.

Guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby and help you to load luggage, then head to airport/ train station according to your schedule.

International flight requires to check in 3 hours prior to departure time and 2 hours for domestic flights, 10 to 20 minutes for train. We will arrange departure time from your hotel accordingly.
