Enjoy a full day moderate hiking from West of Simatai Great Wall to Jinshanling Great Wall. Divided into two parts by a lake, Simatai Great Wall has 34 distinctive beacon towers and there are 18 towers on the western section. The wall has been restored but the outer appearance still preserved with its historic atmosphere.
Guide will collect you at hotel lobby early (suggested to be at 7:00-7:30am) and drive about 2.5 hours to Simatai Great Wall. This hike takes an average of 3.5 hours to cross through the watching towers up and down on the mountain range. Get down from the Great Wall around 1:30pm. We will have a good rest in the farmer’s local restaurant and enjoy the traditional, tasty dishes made with fresh vegetables and meats here.
Transfer back to hotel in Beijing city when tour ends around 5:00pm.
