Useful Tips:

1.     The ticket is valid for 3 days from your selected date of purchase. Visitors are allowed to visit each attraction within Pingyao Ancient City only once during their ticket's three-day validity period.

2.     People aged 60 and above (including 60y) and children aged 6 and below (including 6y), or those with a height of 1.2 meters and below, enjoy free admission.

3.     Most hotels or guesthouses in the ancient city offer complimentary maps for exploring the historic area.

4.     If time permits, it’s recommended to visit the Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple, where there’re just near the Pingyao Ancient City.

5.     Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is the light show along the Ancient City Wall.

6.     The Government Office Building (Yamen) hosts a daily court trial reenactment at 3:30 PM, lasting approximately 15 minutes.

• The Pingyao Ancient City admission ticket grants access to all the attractions within the city, but separate tickets are required for entry to Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple.
