The Capital Museum possess bronzes, ceramics, Buddhist statues, jade artifacts, gold and silver items, coins, calligraphy, paintings, textiles, and scholarly objects. By the end of 2019, it housed 124,808 items/sets, with 63,170 classified as precious cultural relics.

Useful Tips:
1. Please enter the Capital Museum through the North Gate and exit from East Gate, Hall on F1.
2. Visitors must undergo security checks. It is strictly forbidden to bring flammable, explosive, or controlled items into the museum.
3. The Museum provides free audio guide devices for visitors to borrow, available in both Chinese and English. You can obtain them at the information desk in the Etiquette Hall with a valid ID.
4. Catering service café bar are available on east side of B1, souvenir store is on southwest side of B1.
5. Intoxicated individuals, those inappropriately dressed, or those without self-control are not allowed to enter the Museum.
6. Do not record videos in the exhibition halls. When taking photos, do not use flash or tripods. Do not take photos of exhibits marked with "No Photography" signs.
7. Please visit the museum in a civilized manner, take care of and use public facilities properly; do not climb on or touch artifacts and exhibits.
8. Maintain environmental hygiene, do not litter, and do not smoke inside the Museum.
9. In case of emergencies, follow the instructions of the Museum staff.
