The most visited are the City Wall of Nanjing, Confucius Temple, The Gate of China, Ruins of Ming Dynasty Imperial Palace, Presidential Palace, Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Qixia Temple and Chaotiangong. The city now serves as the capital of Jiangsu Province and the transport hub in the area. All Beijing-Shanghai trains stop at Nanjing and make it a perfect spot for first timer to China.
